Taxpayers

For Anchorage Voters,

We are asked to approve $90 million in bonds mostly for our school district in the April 1st Election. If this money were for specific projects, we could discuss their merits. BUT they are not, and totally subject to CHANGE. ASD keeps a well funded slush fund. Do we need to open our wallets this year for their slush fund?

Each bond includes the disclaimer: “Projects expected to be funded include, but are not limited to”. As has been explained during many meetings of the Municipality or the Anchorage School District, there is no obligation to stay with the list provided because of this language.

VOTE NO ON ALL BONDS April 1st.
