Ric Davidge is the official representative of the Alaska Republican Party at United for Liberty.Â Ric was a founding member of United for Liberty and the Chairman of District 20 for the party.
Ric has a long history in public policy and public service with appointments by Governor Jay Hammond; US Senator Ted Stevens; President Ronald Reagan; Governor Walter Hickel, Mayor Sara Palin; Mayor Dan Sullivan; and assists aÂ host of state and local leaders across Alaska.Â He came to Alaska in 1972 and has gathered both a BS Degree and Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Alaska having attended classes at the Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Juneau campuses – with an appointment to the University of Alaska Board of Regents.
He serves as the State Chairman on National Defense and Veterans Affairs Cmte for the AK Republican Party, is a Member of the Republican National Platform Committee with specific work in National Defense and Veterans issues as well as federal government reform, continues as the Municipal Chairman of the Commission on Military and Veterans Affairs.
He was twice elected as the State Chairman of the Alaska State Council of Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), recently served as the National Chairman of Government Affairs for VVA and received a National Commendation Medal for that service in 2014.Â Ric is the Chairman of the Alaska Veterans Foundation, Inc.Â Ric is an advisor to a host of state legislators on veterans issues and on government reform having written a number of substantive articles on state, federal and municipal reform.Â Best way to reach Ric is by email email@example.com.
The AK RP has recently rewritten its state party platform which is enclosed.Â Ric again chaired the state committee on National Defense and Veterans Affairs and continues as a State Delegate to the State Convention for 2014.Â He also serves at the District 20 Chairman for the party.
